Biography
Maurizio Azzan studied composition with Gianni Possio and Giorgio Colombo Taccani at the Turin Conservatory and with Alessandro Solbiati at the Milan Conservatory, attending at the same time some courses with Louis Andriessen and Salvatore Sciarrino. In 2009 he took his degree summa cum laude in Classics at the Turin University.
His music has been performed at various festivals like Compositori a confronto of Reggio Emilia and MITO Settembremusica.
