Born in Rovigo (next to Venice) in 1976; at the Adria Conservatory, he got his diploma in Piano with Antonio Pulleghini, in Composition with Luigi Verdi, in Chorus and Conducting with Mario Pagotto. Later on, he studied Composition with Bruno Coltro (a pupil of Gian Francesco Malipiero), Bruno Bettinelli, Goffredo Petrassi, Alessandro Solbiati, Enrico Pisa, Leonello Capodaglio obtaining after, the Doctorate in Composition with full marks. He also got a Diploma at the Civica Scuola di Musica of Milan with Mauro Bonifacio. Moreover, he specialized with Azio Corghi at the Accademia di Santa Cecilia in Rome and at the Accademia Musicale Chigiana in Siena. He also studied orchestration with the American composer Jon Ward Bauman. He was prize winner of important national and international composition competitions: Città di Pavia 1993, Premio Valentino Bucchi (Rome 1992,1993,1994), International Tourney of Music (Rome 1998-1999), Concorso Internazionale di Composizione Città di Pavia (1999), Antonio De Curtis International Composer Competition of Naples, INMC 2000 Composition Competition of New York, (USA). He was also awarded at the Jahrespreis 2001 by STAB Foundation of Zürich (Switzerland) and won the Opera Prima Talenti Award 2002 organized by the Ricordi Publishing House and Festa della Musica of Milan. He received a mention as composer at the Premio Quadrivio which in the 1999 edition was assigned to important cultural personalities, including, Carla Fracci, Laura Biagiotti, Antonio Tabucchi, Margherita Hack.

He has been nominated European Representative of U.N.C.L.A. (Unione Nazionale Compositori Librettisti Autori di musica leggera) - Milan and Member of the Lyrical Section Technical Committee of SIAE (Società Italiana degli Autori ed Editori) - Rome. He also taught at the Conservatory “A. Buzzolla” of Adria, “F. A. Bonporti” of Trento, “G. Frescobaldi” of Ferrara, “G. Puccini” of La Spezia, “O. Respighi” of Latina, “G. Nicolini” of Piacenza, “G. Verdi” of Milan.
